Business as usual in D.C.

No matter which corrupt group is in control, things do not change much.

On Wednesday, Democrats suggested changing the House rules to limit the minority's right to offer motions to recommit bills back to committee -- violating a protection that has been in place since 1822.
Consistently, Democrats have prevented Republicans from offering amendments to legislation on the floor, which was standard procedure under GOP rule, too.

The representatives in D.C. are supposed to be looking out for the best interests of the people and the country. Instead, they are fighting each other for pet projects and power. What a waste. A waste of time, money and resources. Our resources. Our time. Our money.
Taxes go up, gas prices go up, interest rates go up, housing prices go up, food prices go up, credit card balances go up, and the salaries of our representatives go up, meanwhile our wallets and bank accounts shrink.

What to do????
Pray for wisdom. Pray that the government would straighten up. Pray for change.

The admirable legacy of Al Sharpton.
He is a bigot and a charlatan. He will not even apologize when he is wrong, citing 'moral' objections.... what is more moral in that situation than admitting you are wrong?

Sharpton will not let the healing happen so that we can move on and grow as a nation. Rather than being a beacon of light for change, Sharpton lurks in the dark shadows of hate for personal gain and to stroke his ego.

TMZ spotted the train wreck taffeta-wrapped tastemaker outside Sugar last night, where he expressed his desire to join the daily gab-fest, telling our cameras, "I have many views and I love confrontation ... just give me a week on 'The View,' get the Trendy view." Wouldn't you just love to see Trendy sassing out Babwa or giving Joy a horrendous, pink-lace, tulle and rhinestone makeover? Maybe not.

Al Sharpton has no more interest in equal civil rights for all Americans than terrorists or The Klan. He is one of the biggest perpetuators of bigotry and racism in America.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness-
I am not naive, I know racism and bigotry still exists. By nature of being Human it will always exist, but, rather than drawing attention to it in a way that promotes unity and tolerance, Sharpton creates division and perpetuates hate, bigotry and racism.

Paris in springtime is lovely, but Paris in the summer - behind bars!!!!
No one is above the law, but Paris and her mom think that A DUI conviction, suspended drivers license and a parole violation are not sufficient crimes to warrant 45 days of jail time.
Why should she be any different?
Why should she have different laws?
Why should she be exempt from the consequences of her actions?
She should be glad they stopped her before she killed someone.

What would mom think if a drunk driver killed Paris? I bet she would be the first one screaming for the death penalty.

By contrast, Ty Pennington maned up and apologized for being stupid when he was arrested for a DUI this last weekend.
The difference? PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY...... Taking responsibility for ones actions, good or bad.
